Academic Medical Center Plans to Use Clinical Trials eXtension to Build Budgets and Track Billing

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) February 1, 2010

eThority (http://www. ethority. com/), a provider of user-obvious (http://www. ethority. com/products/Design. aspx#User-Obvious-Design) enterprise performance and productivity solutions, announced today that the University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) (http://www. med. umich. edu/), one of the country's premier academic medical centers, has selected eThority's Clinical Trials eXtension (http://www. ethority. com/products/clinical-trials. aspx) for budgeting, billing, reporting and analysis for all clinical trials activity.

"eThority's Clinical Trials software will help our investigators create more timely and more accurate budgets for clinical studies, as well as build comprehensive billing calendars to ensure items and services are appropriately billed," said Samuel M. Silver, M. D., Ph. D., the Assistant Dean for Research and a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, who is also the project lead.

EThority's Clinical Trials functionality integrates seamlessly with its core business intelligence platform, eThority Enterprise (http://www. ethority. com/products/eThority. aspx), to deliver an end-to-end data management and analysis solution. Clinical Trials empowers study coordinators and principal investigators to quickly and accurately build trial budgets in order to ensure effective negotiations with sponsors. In addition, the application helps users develop robust billing calendars, making it easier to monitor research billing.

"We chose eThority Clinical Trials for its ease of use and the company's successful track record with other projects at UMHS," said Silver. "Our investigative teams range from large groups of experienced researchers with several support staff, to individual junior investigators. That means we need an application that individuals with varying levels of administrative proficiency can use," he explained.

"We are pleased that UMHS has elected to expand on the relationship both organizations have benefited from over the past five years," said Mike Psenka, CEO of eThority. "Due to the highly complex nature of an academic health care institution, accurately and quickly budgeting for clinical trials and maintaining accurate and appropriate billing practices is critically important. We're thrilled about the opportunity to help UMHS continue its thought leadership in clinical research administration."

BACKGROUNDER - 2007 Technology Impact Awards

The Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) is the premier awards program devoted to promoting and celebrating innovation and high-tech excellence in the province of British Columbia.

Founded in 1994 by the BC Technology Industries Association (BCTIA), the Technology Impact Awards have gained the reputation as a mark of distinction and a celebration of outstanding leadership, innovation, and technical excellence.

The awards are divided into three distinct categories:

 1. Technology Awards

 2. Company Awards

 3. Personal Recognition Awards

Past technology and company award winners have included globally recognized companies such as Kodak (Creo), MDA, Business Objects, and emerging gems with pioneering new technologies such as TIR Systems, Paradigm Environmental, and Cray Canada. Winners and Honourees of the Personal Recognition Awards have included Dr. Donald Rix, Amos Michelson, Morgan Sturdy, and Ralph Turfus.

Awards Process

The awards are judged by a panel of twelve individuals who are recognized as experts and leaders in the technology sector. Detailed submissions are provided by interested companies and the judges follow a rigorous process to determine the winners and finalists.

The awards are open to all technology companies within the Province of British Columbia regardless of technology sector or geography. 2006 finalists include companies involved in many diverse technologies, encompassing fuel cells and alternative energy, IP telephony, life sciences, and environmental technologies, as well as the traditional information and communications technology sector. This year submissions were also received from companies on Vancouver Island and in the Okanagan.

Many of the past winners and finalists are companies that have commercialized technologies originating from various educational institutions across the province. The success of these companies illustrates the important role that pure research and technology transfer efforts play in the success of the BC technology industry.

Even Though There are More Women in Positions of Power than 30 Years Ago, Less than 15% are Company Directors

Even Though There are More Women in Positions of Power than 30 Years Ago, Less than 15% are Company Directors

Research and Markets (researchandmarkets. com/reports/c36067) has announced the addition of Working Women Market Assessment 2006 to their offering.

Dublin (PRWEB) April 26, 2006

Research and Markets (http://www. researchandmarkets. com/reports/c36067 (http://www. researchandmarkets. com/reports/c36067)) has announced the addition of Working Women Market Assessment 2006 to their offering.

There is a kind of complacency in the UK today which suggests that the battle for equality has already been won. Nearly three-quarters of the representative sample of women surveyed for the research for this report stated that they agreed with the statement: `Women today have as much chance of succeeding in the workplace as men'.

However, the facts tell a different story. Both the Equal Opportunities Commission, a government-appointed commission that works through the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Fawcett Society, the UK's foremost campaigning organisation for equality between women and men, took the opportunity of the 30th anniversary of the Equal Pay and Sex Discrimination Acts, both passed in December 1975, to examine how much has been achieved for women during that time.

What they have found is that women still do not have equal pay. The pay gap for full-time workers has narrowed but still exists. The pay gap for part-time workers — the overwhelming majority of whom are women — has barely moved and remains at around 40%.

There are more women in positions of power and authority than there were 30 years ago — but again, they are still in the minority — fewer than 20% of members of parliament (MPs) in the UK are women.

Yet girls outperform boys throughout their schooling and, although there are fewer female undergraduates in some of the more traditional `male' subjects of science, engineering and technology (SET), the women who do study these subjects tend to outperform men. (Indeed, these subjects tend to attract too few students overall, to the Government's disconcertion.)

Women, then, can be said to be better educated and better qualified, on the whole, than men. Nevertheless, when it comes to the boardroom, they are still woefully under-represented; fewer than 15% of company directors are women.

Attitudes persist, especially in the highly competitive industries such as advertising, that women simply do not have the kind of commitment it takes to get to the top. Undoubtedly, childrearing does take them out of the workplace for certain periods of time.

The Government wishes to redress this balance and has introduced a number of bills to encourage increases in the number of women in the workplace and that recognise the needs of parents and other carers and that promote the social value of that caring work.

This Market Assessment report examines the aims of the proposed legislation that includes the Work and Families Bill, the Childcare Bill, the Breastfeeding etc. Bill and the Equality Bill.

This report looks in detail at women in the workforce encompassing their employment rates, the types of work they do, the hours they work and how they get their jobs. It does this using government statistics collected through various ongoing surveys, such as the Labour Force Survey, and published annually in the Social Trends reports. It also uses original primary research, specially commissioned from NEMS Market Research, among a representative sample of 990 women in the UK, who were interviewed in December 2005 and January 2006.

Another major issue of great concern to the Government and to those agencies working on behalf of women's rights is that of pensions. As has been shown time and again, women live longer than men and are living longer than their mothers and grandmothers. However, the pension provision for many is inadequate and even in today's affluent society, one in every five pensioners is living in poverty.

Also of concern is women's health. The number of women developing breast cancer is increasing alarmingly and even though awareness campaigns mean pink ribbons are seen on the lapels of sympathisers everywhere, there is perhaps a more sinister reason behind the increase. Changes in lifestyle and hereditary factors play a part, certainly, but, according to the Women's Environmental Network, the increase in the number of oestrogen-mimicking chemicals in the environment is also a major contributor.

Another deadly disease — diabetes — is also discussed in Chapter 8 of this report — Women's Health. Worryingly, an increasing number of children are contracting the type 2 strain of the disease, and poor diet, lacking in nutrition, has been linked with the increase. It is women, the prime carers, who need to be better educated to take fewer risks with what they feed their children and what chemicals they use in their homes.

The statistical projections show that both men and women will continue to live longer. It is imperative, therefore, that they remain healthy enough to actively contribute to the economy for as much of their lives as possible.

LEZ an Issue for London Mayoral Elections

LEZ an Issue for London Mayoral Elections

As haulage companies get to grips with the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ), implemented by Ken Livingstone in January, the mayor's opposition are courting votes for the London mayoral elections with mixed approaches to this controversial issue.

London, UK (PRWEB) April 20, 2008

In January, Mayor of London Ken Livingstone introduced the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ), but opposing mayoral candidates Boris Johnson and Brian Paddick say the LEZ is far from ideal.

Said to be the biggest urban environmental control in the world, the LEZ was aimed at easing smog and related health conditions in the capital. Now, in the run up to the London mayoral elections on May 1, the Conservative and Liberal Democratic party candidates have given their views on the matter.

Whilst Conservative candidate Boris Johnson supports the LEZ but believes that it has been too 'hastily' implemented, Liberal Democrat candidate Brian Paddick opposes the scheme altogether, citing its potential negative impact on the haulage industry.

What is the LEZ?

To enter the London Low Emission Zone, which covers most of Greater London, lorry drivers must ensure that their lorries meet the European Category Three standard for airborne pollutants. Those that do not must pay £200 a day to enter central London.

Lyall Cresswell of freight exchange Haulage Exchange says the LEZ is an extremely important issue for haulage companies. "The LEZ is affecting hundreds of haulage companies throughout the UK," he said. "It's therefore encouraging to know that these mayoral candidates are taking the issue seriously as a policy which must be considered if they are to stand a chance in the upcoming London mayoral elections."

Here is a brief run-down on what the candidates intend to do about the LEZ if they are elected to be Mayor of London in May.

Labour

Current mayor Ken Livingstone says the LEZ was introduced to cut dangerous air pollution. The Mayor believes there are still 1,000 people a year at risk of premature death due to smog, particularly those with existing lung or heart conditions.

Livingstone says seven out of 10 Londoners are worried about the air they breathe, and that this justifies the new system. He said that more than a million Londoners live in areas "with levels of air pollution that are dangerous to health, with children and older people most affected."

"That is why in January we introduced the London Low Emission Zone to reduce harmful emissions from lorries, and the most polluting coaches and buses," he said. "My manifesto pledges that if I am re-elected I will extend this zone to cover all lorries over three and a half tonnes and, in 2010, heavier vans."

The restrictions and charges currently only cover 12-tonne lorries with diesel engines, but under Livingstone's plans, buses and coaches weighing 3.5 tonnes will be included from July, and other vehicles (except for cars and motorcycles) from 2010.

Conservative

Tory London mayoral candidate Boris Johnson has said that he will review the London Low Emission Zone if he becomes mayor, and listen to what haulage companies have to say. He said: "I am behind the aims of the LEZ - but it is clear that this scheme has been hastily implemented by Livingstone."

"I pledge to re-hold a consultation on the western extension and be bound by its results. I will also review the LEZ and listen to Londoners -- including freight operators and other transport businesses."

Liberal Democrat

Liberal Democrat candidate Brian Paddick said he opposes the scheme due to its potential negative affect on haulage companies, adding that it will only result in a tiny improvement in air quality.

"It is clear from discussions I have had with traders that his scheme may well threaten their businesses," he said.

Affect on the haulage industry

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) estimates 10,000 lorries may breach the minimum standard and businesses forced to comply with the new restrictions face extra costs.

Some haulage companies have fitted 'pollution traps' to their lorries' exhausts; others have replaced old lorries with newer ones. Both are expensive options, and the FTA believes the haulage industry is spending an estimated £100m adapting to the new system.

According to Cresswell, Livingstone's LEZ plans for the future could further threaten the existence of many haulage companies. "I think there needs to be a lot more discussion on this topic and I would like to see members of the haulage industry being consulted thoroughly in relation to any future changes," he said.

About Haulage Exchange:

With offices in London and Nottingham, Haulage Exchange (http://www. haulageexchange. co. uk (http://www. haulageexchange. co. uk)) is one of the UK's leading independent freight exchanges for the 7.5 Tonne market and beyond. Its sister site, Courier Exchange, is the UK's biggest exchange for express and same day movements and is now in its ninth year of trading.

Membership of the exchange is limited to accredited transport professionals, and offers them the chance to buy and sell domestic and international road transport industry services such as full loads, backloads, return loads, freight forwarding, and road haulage.

AP9 HomeWorksPlus Offers Tips for Dealing With Snow and Ice on the Road This Winter

AP9 HomeWorksPlus Offers Tips for Dealing With Snow and Ice on the Road This Winter

AP9 HomeWorksPlus offers members a variety of savings on home and yard needs.

Stamford, CN (PRWEB) December 31, 2005

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, and since the holiday season has come and gone, there’s not much reason for non-winter sports enthusiasts to cheer about snowfall. Members of AP9 HomeWorksPlus (http://www. homeworksplus-program. com/), a leading membership discount program offered by Adaptive Marketing LLC, can at least take solace in the knowledge that they can save money on their snow and ice removal equipment needs.

Aside from appreciating the sheer natural beauty of a new snowfall, most adults don’t take the same pleasure in a forecast of snow that schoolkids, skiers and snowboarders do. A big snowstorm can add a lot of time to even a short work commute, and that’s assuming all goes well on your ride.

As the old saying goes, everyone talks about the weather but no one ever does anything about it. AP9 HomeWorksPlus has no control over Mother Nature, but we do have a few tips to help you prepare for whatever she chooses to send your way this winter:

-- Practice defensive driving, and reduce your speed. Cars take longer to come to a stop on wet, snowy and/or icy roads, trucks even more so. Keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you, and keep an eye out for trucks behind you.

-- Make sure your car is stocked with supplies you’ll need in an emergency: a small bag of abrasive material, a snow shovel and snowbrush, traction mats, a flashlight (with fresh batteries), an ice scraper, cloth/paper towels, booster cables, a blanket, and warning devices (flare, triangles).

-- Winterize your car. Take it in for a tune-up, and have the service technician check your brakes, tires, exhaust, heating, and windshield wipers/washer system.

-- Keep at least half a tank of gas in your car at all times. A full tank will help you avoid a frozen gas line in your engine.

-- Wash your car. Cleaning your car in winter will keep snow and road grime from caking on your car’s exterior lights, which makes it easier for you to see and be seen. Keeping it clean can also prevent anti-icing chemicals from corroding the exterior.

-- Parking in a garage will keep snow from piling up on your car, but remember not to warm up your car in an enclosed garage (or other area). A build-up of carbon monoxide emissions from your car can be fatal.

-- If you need to shovel your driveway or walkway, remember three things: 1. Stretch out beforehand. Especially in deep snow, shoveling can strain unprepared muscles. 2. Use your knees to lift the snow. Your back shouldn’t absorb the brunt of the weight. 3. Don’t overexert yourself; take breaks as needed.

-- Read the instructions before using any de-icer or anti-icer on your driveway. While environment-friendly products are now available, any de-icing chemical has the potential to harm your property if it’s used improperly. Some can attack concrete; others can harm vegetation. Don’t let a quick fix to a snowfall cause lasting damage to your property.

In addition to savings on items for their home, yard and car, members of AP9 HomeWorksPlus can log on to DealPass (http://www. dealpass. com/) to access member-exclusive savings on home decorating, cooking and entertaining, and a variety of other resources for their family.

We Turn Dreams Into Reality With A HOME BASED BUSINESS ·A More Profitable Future for You ·Residual Income ·Belief in yourself

We Turn Dreams Into Reality With A HOME BASED BUSINESS ·A More Profitable Future for You ·Residual Income ·Belief in yourself

Get your share of a TRILLION-DOLLAR Market. With Marketing Tools, Support, and a product that will not only change your life, but the lives of everyone you come in contact with. This is an exploding trend that you can capitalize on right now as you grow your home based business.

Louisville, KY (PRWEB) September 30, 2004

We Are New to the Area With A Major Opportunity. Louisville Is An Open Market; Your Area Could Be Too.

Is Your Job Keeping You From Your Family? More Hours; Less Money.

Last year 2 million Jobs Were Eliminated. Will You Be Next?

ItÂ’s time to take control of your future. Imagine looking into the mirror and knowing the image you are looking at is going to take control of your life, be your own boss, and replace the income you are now receiving. No more worries of corporate downsizing and lay-offs. There is a trillion dollar industry that will make this all possible for you. All you need is the desire, the Internet, and a telephone.

The only person who can stop you from succeeding is you. We talk ourselves out of things far too often. Are you scared to succeed? The amount of money you can acquire is limitless using our home based business system. Attain a residual income. Do not struggle and scrape in order to get by on a job you hate.

Pitch upon that course of life which is most excellent, and custom will make it the most delightful. - Ben Franklin

After giving this advice, Ben Franklin went on to say, "But many pitch on no course of life at all, nor form any scheme of living by which to attain any valuable end; but wander perpetually from one thing to another." Or, as another old saying goes, "if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail." Too many people act as if life owes them a living and are surprised and upset when good things do not just come their way.

Here are some simple rules for achieving success.

Set goals. Decide what things are important  to you. Keep in mind that you cannot do

 everything, so prioritize and choose.

Stay Focused. Don't waste time on tasks that  do not advance your goals.

Break big goals down into little ones.

As the old joke goes, "How do you eat an elephant?

A little at a time."

This is a two-tiered business wherein first we address health and wellness, secondly we grow the business. In order to develop the business we get on the product to be a walking billboard. This builds our business. Due to life altering effects of the products many customers become team leaders in order to develop a business.

This is a duplicable process. You will never be alone. There are support meetings, support calls, and your team leader will always be available to you. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Duplicate...Duplicate...Duplicate.

Our opportunity offers the best benefits you will find anywhere. Working out of the home offers: tax breaks, freedom, and many other opportunities you cannot get while working for someone else. The rewards you get from customer satisfaction, and the compensation you get from doing so are endless. You hold the key to it all:

Enhance peoples' lives through a Physician   Lead Advisory Health Network.

Acquire success by helping others reach    success.

Qualify for tax breaks  Choose your own work hours.  Encourage clients to become team leaders.  Be your own boss.  Earn to your greatest potential.

We have Marketing Tools, Training, and Support vs. You Having Freedom, Choices, a New Lifestyle, and Time With the Family.

The business is in place. Once again it is a duplicable business. You are in business for yourself, but never by yourself. The support system is phenominal because when you grow, we grow. You will have support meetings to attend, support calls, and a team leader that is always a call away. There is no reason to fail except; not doing anything.

Opportunity Is Missed By Most People Because It Is Dressed In Overalls And Looks Like Work. –Thomas Edison

BayScribe Releases Enhancements to Mobile Dictation Application for iPhone OS

BayScribe Releases Enhancements to Mobile Dictation Application for iPhone OS

BayScribe announced availability of BayScribe Mobile 2.2 for iPhone OS 4 today with a couple of key enhancements aimed at improving the Clinical Documentation workflow and ultimately EHR adoption and Meaningful Use adherence.

Orlando, FL (Vocus) September 27, 2010

BayScribe announced availability of BayScribe Mobile 2.2 for iPhone OS 4 today with a couple of key enhancements aimed at improving the Clinical Documentation workflow and ultimately EHR adoption and Meaningful Use adherence.

Physicians are mobile, with the vast majority practicing at at least three different physical locations. BayScribe believes that their documentation platform needs to be mobile as well. Physicians, especially Specialists and those within small practices, have lagged in EHR adoption and one of the primary reasons has been a strong reluctance to adopting point-and-click documentation methods. Providing better documentation tools has consistently been a point of contention within the vocal Physician community, and BayScribe believes their new mobile application is evolving into the premier mobile dictation application.

“This release incorporates some early feedback from our growing user-base. Physicians want simplicity and efficiency, and we are giving it to them. With BayScribe Mobile (http://www. bayscribevm. com/Mobile_Dictation. html), a physician can rotate from facility to facility and download patient lists with the scheduled date and time of service to quickly and easily document encounters, all without having stop and dock it (a digital handheld) at a PC, truly optimizing efficiency,” explained Steve Bonney, Vice President of Business Development at BayScribe.

The latest version of BayScribe Mobile will be available by October 1st but can be seen at the BayScribe booth (#311) today, and includes features such as multiple location support. BayScribe plans to unveil subsequent version this year and alludes to providing seamless login access to the BayScribe Platform to retrieve Clinical Summary Data generated from the NLP system.

“We are taking on perhaps the single largest EHR-adoption hurdle by combining mobile efficiency & usability with exceptional back-end work flows and structured data collection. This is true Win/Win – the Physicians get what they want – dictation; the industry gets what it wants – structured data,” continued Mr. Bonney.

The application is available as a free download in the Apple App Store. An Android application with similar functionality will follow in 4Q2010.

About BayScribe

Established in 1999, BayScribe provides Cloud-based Clinical Documentation Solutions – Dictation, Speech Recognition, Transcription, Structured Data extraction & Document Distribution – for anywhere, anytime access of Clinical Reports with unparalleled performance and reliability. Every month, more than one hundred thousand clinicians in over 350 healthcare facilities rely on the BayScribe platform to capture and deliver their reports.

Morehead Webinar Presents Geography’s Role in Strengthening Referring Physician Relations

Morehead Webinar Presents Geography’s Role in Strengthening Referring Physician Relations

Geographic location of targeted physicians an important factor for hospitals in building a successful network of referring physicians.

Charlotte, N. C. (PRWEB) January 9, 2008

The human capital research (http://www. moreheadassociates. com/) firm Morehead will host a webinar titled “Location Matters: Geography's Role in Strengthening Referring Physician Relations.” The webinar will be broadcast on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 1 p. m. eastern time.

Research has shown that when hospitals are building a successful network of referring physicians, the geographic location of targeted physicians is an important factor. Morehead’s findings confirm that physicians located further away consider different factors as they form their satisfaction and loyalty with an organization.

Morehead’s Brad Morton, vice president of Business Development and David Rowlee, Ph. D., vice president of Research and Development will present the hour-long webinar. Morton and Rowlee, through an analysis of a leading children’s hospital, will demonstrate how physician liaison teams can maximize their organization's effectiveness by understanding physicians' geographic-based needs.

Following the webinar, attendees will have an understanding of how to effectively prioritize information and target key messages to referring physicians. People Can Help Clean up the Environment by using Positive Orgone Energy

People Can Help Clean up the Environment by using Positive Orgone Energy

There is no time like the present in getting involved and helping clean up the environment by using Orgone energy. If everyone would do their part, people can take back the planet and puck the new world order.

Carrollton, OH (PRWEB) September 27, 2010

There is no time like the present in getting involved and helping clean up the environment by using Orgone energy.

What is Orgone? Orgone is ancient ether energy. A positive life building energy that destroys and fights against evil.

Positive Orgone Energy can

Absorb, defeat, eliminate chemtrails, toxins, poisons and radiation from the air and keeps the skies clear.

Orgone induces rain and promotes good weather. Orgone knocks out bad thunderstorms before they hit the affected area. Chills out tornados headed an individual's way. Areas that have Orgone in them suffered the least amount of damage from hurricanes.

Nullifies the effects of subliminal messaging coming from cell, TV, radio towers everywhere. Neutralizes radio waves, microwaves, scalar waves, any form of electromagnetic pollution.

Emits positive energy, repels evil beings, keeping them out of people's yards and homes. Evil can't stand being around it.

Stops sleep abductions. Sleep better at night. Remedies insomnia and bad dreams.

Helps those with asthma and breathing problems.

Stops ELF attacks, stops headaches and migraines, improves overall health.

Lowers water and electric bill [if Orgone is put on the meters] as well lower gas mileage if Orgone is put on top or side of the engine.

And much much more.

Just like with anything else in life, Orgone can be used for good (Positive Energy Orgone) or for bad (Negative Energy Orgone). Not all Orgone is the same. Unfortunately the majority of Orgone being made and sold on the Internet is the bad kind of energy (Negative Energy Orgone). Most New Agers who mean well in their own minds to help the earth, are doing so with Negative Energy Orgone and are hurting it instead.

People can learn how to make Orgone properly at http://www. orgoneblasters. com/make-your-own. htm (http://www. orgoneblasters. com/make-your-own. htm)

If everyone would do their part, people can take back the planet and puck the new world order. Orgone Blasters are really gifts that keep on giving.

Identigral Adds Enterprise Single Sign-On with Passlogix's v-GO Suite

Identigral Adds Enterprise Single Sign-On with Passlogix's v-GO Suite

Identity management specialist Identigral Inc. today announced the addition of enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) technology to its product portfolio through a reseller agreement with Passlogix Inc., developer of the market-leading v-GO Access Accelerator Suite for ESSO and related solutions. San Francisco-based Identigral focuses on services related to the Oracle Identity Management platform.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 30, 2009

Identity management specialist Identigral Inc. today announced the addition of enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) technology to its product portfolio through a reseller agreement with Passlogix Inc., developer of the market-leading v-GO Access Accelerator Suite for ESSO and related solutions. San Francisco-based Identigral focuses on services related to the Oracle Identity Management platform, including provisioning, access requests, attestation, credential assertion, web single sign-on, role-based access control, fine-grained authorization, federated identity management and virtualized identity.

The Passlogix partnership (http://www. identigral. com/Partners. htm) expands Identigral's services by offering the market's most comprehensive and rapidly deployed ESSO platform for the firm's existing Fortune 1000 clients as well as organizations in the healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, legal, retail and education markets.

"Our customers have been asking for password management capabilities, and in many cases we have identified the need for enterprise single sign-on based on our analysis of their business requirements. We can now fill that need with v-GO," said Deborah Volk, President of Identigral. "This is a strong complement to our services that will enable customers to source a full range of identity and access management projects from a single firm."

V-GO's single sign-on, authentication and provisioning enablement capabilities improve user productivity, reduce help desk costs, increase network security, and facilitate regulatory compliance readiness by providing a complete audit trail of application access by user. The platform scales to tens of thousands of users, has been successfully deployed around the world, and can be rapidly deployed without writing scripts or connectors even to homegrown or legacy applications.

V-GO Single Sign-On, the cornerstone of the suite, enables users to access any Windows, mainframe or Web application with a single Windows logon rather than remembering, managing and inputting different passwords for each account. v-GO is also the first platform that can extend single sign-on beyond the enterprise to remote, mobile and temporary users, including home computers, physicians' offices that require access to hospital networks, and third-party partners or contractors.

Companion v-GO solutions automate user sign-on and sign-off of kiosk sessions; securely manage shared passwords for administrators and others who must share account IDs; enable strong authentication to applications, desktops and networks without expensive custom integration; pre-load user IDs and passwords to the v-GO repository for easy provisioning; and automate resets of Windows logon passwords.

"Identigral's decision to adopt v-GO as their ESSO solution of choice is a direct result of our technology leadership as well as our proven ability to provide a rapid return on investment and low total cost of ownership," said Sean Harris, Passlogix VP of Business Development. "Combined with the growing recognition of the value of enterprise single sign-on to both end users and administrators, these factors are fueling continued growth in our partner network and increasing v-GO's availability around the world."

About Identigral Inc.

Identigral Inc. was founded in 2006 as a systems integrator and service provider for identity management technology solutions (http://www. identigral. com/Solutions. htm) to business enterprises. Over the years the firm has evolved into an IT business consultancy with a wide-reaching solution focus spanning areas including workflow, provisioning, role management, entitlements/authorization enforcement, credential assertion, single sign on, encryption and risk management. Bank One Honored by the Secretary of Defense in Washington, DC

Bank One Honored by the Secretary of Defense in Washington, DC

The 2004 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award was presented to Bank One by the National Committee for Employer Support of the GUard and Reserve.

(PRWEB) September 23, 2004

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), in conjunction with the Secretary of Defense, honored Bank One as a 2004 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award recipient on September 21, 2004 in Washington, DC.

Bank One, now merged with J. P. Morgan Chase & Co., supports its Guard and Reserve mobilized members with pay differential, continued health and insurance benefits, care packages to deployed members, and family support. The support provided by the company helps assure the quality of life for both the military member and family. Bank One values the leadership and “global” experiences that Guard and Reserve members bring to the corporation.

“We salute our employees who sacrifice so much for their country”, said Jamie Dimon, the Bank One Chief Executive Officer who is now President of JPMorgan Chase. “It is clearly appropriate to provide theses benefits to the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way, separated from their families for months at a time.”

The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, a Waterford crystal eagle, was introduced in 1996 to publicly recognize the significant contributions and sacrifices made by AmericaÂ’s employers of Guardsmen and Reservists.

“Bank One’s exceptional support of their Reserve and National Guard employees during mobilization for the war against terrorism has set a standard for all employers to follow”, said David Janes, ESGR National Chairman. “Bank One’s’ advocacy of extending continuing benefits, making up pay differentials, and ensuring employees are returned to their jobs in a timely manner is truly a role model for corporate America. I am proud to have participated in the selection of Bank One for this prestigious award”, added Janes.

Bank One merged with JPMorgan Chase & Co. on July 1, 2004. The combined

Company, JPMorgan Chase, is a strong supporter of its Guard and Reserve employees. Under the JPMorgan, Chase and Bank One brands, the firm serves millions of consumers in the United States and many of the worldÂ’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients. Information about the firm is available at www. jpmorganchase. com.

The unique mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain active employer support from all public and private employers for the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve as defined by demonstrated employer commitment to employee military service.

ESGR provides free education, consultation, and if necessary mediation for employers of Guard and Reserve employees. More information about ESGR Employer Outreach Programs and volunteer opportunities is available at www. esgr. org, or by calling 800-336-4590.

Neurostar Solutions, developer and marketer of the innovative Virtual Radiology Network (VRN), and LocumTenens. com, a full-service recruitment firm specializing in temporary physician placement, announce a partnership to offer streamlined remote radiology staffing to LocumTenens. com clients. The new agreement will enable hospitals and imaging groups to choose offsite radiologists to read films and submit reports using NeurostarÂ’s VRN.

“We're thrilled we can now offer a full complement of radiology solutions to our client hospitals—particularly those in rural areas, where we place about 75 percent of our physicians,” says David Roush, president of LocumTenens. com. “For facilities with fewer than 300 beds, the combination of Neurostar’s remote-reading technology and our credentialed radiologists offers a viable and affordable answer to today’s radiologist shortage.”

Roush believes the new service will be particularly attractive to facilities with too much reading volume for one radiologist but not enough for two. “The clear advantage is that hospitals and group practices will now be able to choose from a larger and more diverse pool of radiology expertise than they could access locally,” he says.

Virtually Moving People and Images

NeurostarÂ’s VRN is a complete digital imaging reading, management and archiving solution. The next step beyond PACS, the technology is designed to power virtual radiology networks. Its unique architecture and universal workflow enable imaging centers, hospitals, and physiciansÂ’ offices to share imaging data with a virtual community of imaging specialists and referring physicians, helping them expand services, productivity and referrals cost-effectively.

Under the agreement, LocumTenens. com clients who select offsite physicians will have the option of utilizing NeurostarÂ’s VRN at an extremely cost-effective, per-study charge. Facilities will utilize the VRN technology in-house and store their images to NeurostarÂ’s offsite archive. Offsite physicians then will have immediate access to studies on a standard Internet-enabled computer and can read them and store the results back to the server as well as send reports directly to the imaging facility.

“This is a win-win relationship for all parties involved,” says Willie Tillery, CEO for Neurostar Solutions. “Today’s acute radiologist shortage has created a large need for outsourcing radiology reading. Our VRN allows medical practices to transcend geographic boundaries to take advantage of the expertise they need, resulting in better and faster reads—all with almost no set-up time or cost.”

About LocumTenens. com

Founded in 1995, LocumTenens. com is a full-service recruiting firm specializing in supplemental placement of anesthesiologists, radiologists, psychiatrists, surgeons and CRNAs (certified registered nurse anesthetists) with U. S. hospitals, medical groups and community health centers. The firm maintains a database of approximately 40,000 physicians and fills roughly 25 percent more of its openings than the industry average.

LocumTenens. com expects to place 1,200 physicians in 2005, approximately 75 percent of them in rural America. The company (http://www. locumtenens. com) also offers the only free physician job board (covering all specialties) on the Web.

LocumTenens. com is part of the Jackson Healthcare Solutions family of companies, named to Inc. magazineÂ’s 23rd annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest growing U. S. private companies in 2004.

About Neurostar Solutions

Founded in 2000, Neurostar Solutions provides technology and infrastructure to enable virtual radiology networks, connecting hundreds of facilities and thousands of physicians to date. The key to NeurostarÂ’s unique VRN technology is the ability to pull images from an infinite number of imaging sites onto a centralized server and make them available through a single database accessible from any location, streamlining image access and management.

NeurostarÂ’s cost-effective, Web-based clinical image management solution helps practices ensure reading by designated physicians, wherever located, in a timely fashion. It addresses todayÂ’s radiologist shortage, the growing need for specialized image interpretation and the challenges of reduced reimbursements. Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 20, 2006 –-

In the stressful and hectic pace of life today, pets are at a far greater risk for contracting the same chronic aches and diseases that humans experience, including cancer and diabetes, as well as emotional frustrations.

The Loving Your Pet to Health CD series, created and narrated by veterinarian Dr. Anyes Van Volkenburgh, brings awareness and new understanding about natural healing for pets. These unique programs deliver the best of meditation and visualization exercises to promote optimal health, wellness, and healing of various conditions found in domestic pets of all kind.

“It is a well-documented fact in human medicine that worry and stress disarm the body’s natural healing responses, while joy and happiness promote healing. This is true in humans and animals of all species, it is a universal fact,” says Dr. Van Volkenburgh, a pioneer of energy and intuitive healing in the field of veterinary medicine. “Our cats, dogs and other domesticated animals are so enmeshed in our hectic, busy lives, that they cannot help but absorb all the stress and worry we experience. And, sometimes, since they do not have a way of dealing with these emotions, they develop disease as a result of exposure to them.”

According to Dr. Van Volkenburgh, pets are not capable of experiencing such emotions as stress, anxiety, or worry on their own. Because pets are influenced by their owners’ thoughts and feelings, they also manifest the physical symptoms associated with them. By internalizing our consciousness, full of negativity, fear, stress and anxiety pets often take on more than they can handle and thus develop disease.

Loving Your Pet to Health: Vol. I — Meditation is a beautiful audio CD that guides pet owners in creating a healing environment for their pets as well as for themselves. The profound sense of well-being and love achieved in meditation heals both humans and animals. The meditations contained on this CD are a great form of "undoing" the damage we inflict on our pets by exposing them to stress, city life and problems like smog, pollution, noise, and electromagnetic fields. Pets and their owners can experience a deeper, calmer, more conscious connection with ‘Source Energy’ and with each other by meditating together.

Loving Your Pet to Health: Vol. II — Visualization introduces the art of visualization to pet owners. This spoken word CD contains mental imagery techniques designed to bring lasting health and well-being. The techniques presented in this program address common animal diseases, such as: cancer, kidney failure, heart disease, respiratory issues, and neurological problems. Pet owners learn to clear and manipulate the animal’s energy to reverse disease and effect healing, literally removing cancer and other diseases from the animal’s body.

While in veterinary school, Dr. Van Volkenburgh discovered the remarkable healing that is possible for animals through meditation and energy work. One particular patient, a horse named Cinnamon Bear, with a very severe case of pneumonia, joint sepsis and just about every other disease you could imagine became a powerful demonstration of her vision for healing pets intuitively.

“My horse, Cinnamon Bear, was the foal everyone, including his owners, gave up on. I fell in love with him at first sight. When I found out that his owners were going to put him to sleep, I offered to buy him from them. They realized how much I cared about this little horse, and gave him to me, along with his medical bills. I was overjoyed,” recalls Dr. Van Volkenburgh. “My fellow students and teachers warned me he would be permanently crippled, perhaps unable to walk, because of the infection in his joints. But I refused to give up, and so did he. I meditated every day, visualizing him healthy and happy, running around in a lush pasture with other horses. Today he is a magnificent stallion, healthy, radiant, and full of light. Love is the essential life force and the ultimate healing energy. And I know it was my love, which I was able to communicate to him, that healed him. This type of healing is possible for all pets.”

The Loving Your Pet to Health CD series is thrilling pet owners with these unique programs designed by acclaimed Veterinarian Dr. Anyes Van Volkenburgh. Both CD’s are now available in select stores and online at www. CDBaby. com. Each CD sells for a suggested retail price of U. S. $ 19.95. Parents Nurturing Themselves, Helps Prevent Burnout and Child Abuse; April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Parents Nurturing Themselves, Helps Prevent Burnout and Child Abuse; April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

One woman is determined to help those stressed-out parents find inner peace.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 25, 2006

Approximately 15 million children, ages 9 to 17 in the United States have a serious mental or addictive disorder, but their parents are largely forsaken by the nation’s mental health system. One woman is determined to help those stressed-out parents find inner peace.

“We took our adopted son to 22 different mental health care professionals over 11 years before he was finally diagnosed and treated for Reactive Attachment Disorder, which was tearing our family apart,” says Janet Alston Jackson, who is now teaching parents how to manage their anger and frustrations. Jackson says her work is solely about supporting the parent, and not how to raise their children which she leaves to child experts.

Jackson and her husband Walter, are like many parents of children with special needs, who have traveled for miles to get help, and waited years searching for the right doctor, before they ultimately found help in Texas. Many don’t find help especially in rural communities. Millions of parents struggle with their child’s behavioral and health problems feeling isolated and hopeless.

“Good parents are burned out and have to nurture themselves as they travel this discouraging and scary mental health maze,” says Jackson author of “A Cry for Light: A Journey into Love,” whose memoir spotlights a growing problem. Child Psychiatry doctors is one of the most severe labor shortages among all medical specialties. Every child psychiatrist in the country has a waiting list, and the widening gap between the number of doctors and the needs of patients has become the priority of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

“Parents have to find ways to nurture themselves and find that inner peace while trying to deal with their children because it can be years before they find help,” says Jackson, a former court appointed child advocate for the Los Angeles Children’s Superior Court. Jackson says she saw too many good parents lose custody of their children over stress related incidents. Jackson found ways to keep herself balanced and calm even though her son was becoming violent and she feared for her other two children’s safety.

The mother of three who is a behavioral consultant, owns Self Awareness Trainings with her husband. The couple who have been giving workshops since 1993 to teachers, parents, prison management and entertainment executives, teach their clients to live in the moment, the non-religious technique of living mindfully to reduce stress.

“Our new workshops are for parents who have tried everything for their children, and still have not found the help or results,” says Jackson. They are not for people looking for an excuse to skirt their responsibilities as parents, and are selfishly satisfying their own needs while neglecting their child. They are for parents who are exhausted from trying everything to help their child, and are on the edge of a breakdown because they don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. When these parents learn how to stay calm and balanced by living in the moment, they can tap into their inner wisdom and strength to direct them to help their child. They will become better, more patient parents.”

The Jacksons upcoming book, “Nurturing Myself: The Inner Peace Survival Guide for Parents and Child Professionals,” will be published in the fall of 2006.

TEN PRACTICAL TIPS FOR BUSY PARENTS TO NURTURE AND CALM THEMSELVES

By: Janet Alston Jackson

1. Deep Listening, without judgment or analyzing helps focus and calm the mind. When feeling out of control, listen deeply to the sounds around you. If you are in your car, listen to the motor and to other passing cars. Deep listening takes you out of the worry and the fear, and immediately calms the mind. Use the every day sounds around you to keep balanced such as the washing machine, the dishwasher, or simply the running water in the sink.

2. Walking meditation to reduce anger. Count your steps walking around your home, doing errands to calm yourself. Count one through twenty, then start over. Or count how many steps to each breath.

3. Get up half an hour before the child, and sit and focus on your breathing to prepare you to deal with your upcoming tasks and the children. Count your breaths to stay focused: Breathing in One, Breathing Out One. Breathing in Two, breathing out two. When you get to ten, start over again.

4. At Work: Take advantage of lunchtime as alone time. Sit in your car and listen to self help tapes, or relaxing music instead of commiserating with gripping co-workers about the job. Or walk during the lunch hour to release stress and keep fit. Take your iPod.

5. Burn incense, and keep relaxing music on around the house to set a relaxing tone for the family.

6. Exercise. Steal any time you can from your busy schedule to exercise to reduce stress.

7. Read self-help and spiritual books that inspire you. Carry the book everywhere to lift you.

8. The car can be a time to communicate with a child, but also a hotbed for sibling arguments. Train your child to have “car quiet time” to decompress from rushing to get somewhere. Tell them it’s quiet time until we get to the store. (Don’t use this for the entire outing…just for a ten minute destination, or less depending on the child’s age. Talk on the way home.) Children tell parents about their day when they first see them after school. Don’t use this as quiet time.

9. Tune into your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Just be aware of the sensations in your body, and the thoughts you are telling yourself without analyzing. Accept them all.

10. Connect with nature as often as possible to reenergize yourself. Garden, or take a walk in the park.

Forecaster Moneyletter Advises to Watch Assets in a Volatile Markets Credit Crunch, Late 2007 Appraisals are Needed, and Older Appraisals are Obsolete

Forecaster Moneyletter Advises to Watch Assets in a Volatile Markets Credit Crunch, Late 2007 Appraisals are Needed, and Older Appraisals are Obsolete

Forecaster Moneyletter makes economic predictions, forecasts, and recommendations. The last issue recommends seize control of one's assets. Surprisingly, most people do not know how their net worth is spread; they have only a vague idea of what percentage of their net worth is in their home equity, rental propety, pension, IRA, 401K, perhaps a family business, or hobby with valuables.

Tarzana, CA (PRWEB) August 18, 2007

Economist John V. Kamin of the Forecaster Moneyletter in Tarzana, California recommends to seize control of assets. Surprisingly, most people do not know how their net worth is spread; they have only a vague idea of what percent of their net worth is in their home equity, rental property, pension, IRA, 401K, perhaps a family business, or a hobby with valuables.

Confidential Forecaster Report #25, from Forecaster Publishing Company, suggests working out current resale values of each, for 100% of a person's net worth, at least every 90 days. Then, you will know what % to adjust, how each performed over the last years, where one made gains, where individuals didn't.

Report #25 reveals net worth can be defined as resalable assets, minus liabilities, to equal what one is net worth. Some traps: Don't count insurance as part of net worth, except for its cash-in value. Bluntly, a policy holder has to die to realize full value.

This report also analyzes when counting real estate as net worth, a person needs a current appraisal, since the market has been wild for 3 years running. An appraisal from 2005 may be way out of date, obsolete, and useless. When figuring net worth, figure how much can be borrowed on that property, in case a loan is needed in an emergency.

Forecaster Moneyletter recommends individuals may own gold or silver coins, rare or key coins that could be sold! Find out resale values!

Rare coin expert, and president of the Forecaster Publishing Co., Kamin, advises that everyone should have at least one hobby for health and relaxation, but also to make money. For instance, he defines a boat as a "hole in the water into which you pour money". A hobby involving horses, requires a lot of board and upkeep, and doesn't make money unless one is in the breeding business. He suggests sticking to hobbies that grow wealth instead of dissipate it. For example, if photography is the hobby, one might defray the cost of all that expensive equipment purchased by commercial photo work.

In Forecaster Report #25, Kamin shows, by percent, what portion of net worth can be in various categories among his clients. E. G. Some of his clients who sell commercial real estate for a big profit may divert up to 10% of the after-tax profit into gold coins, so at least that portion doesn't get away from them. He gives many more examples in Forecaster Report #25.

The Forecaster Moneyletter, published weekly since 1962, has served subscribers in every state and many foreign countries. Kamin further suggests not overlooking a 10% to 20% "stockpile" of opportunity money, assets available within 72 hours to seize short but lucrative opportunities: a probate deal, a widow selling an almost-new low-mileage car 40% below wholesale Blue Book, a chance to buy profitable machinery that doesn't go obsolete at 10¢ on the $1 at a Customs Auction or bankruptcy auction.

He suggests THINKING LONG TERM. One prediction Forecaster has published is that USA population will double by 2057 to 2061, due to higher birth rates, more immigrants (legal and illegal), increasing longevity, other factors.

Long time subscribers find Forecaster very useful in increasing their net worth, in unconventional Contrarian ways. Clients have become millionaires through ideas in Forecaster Reports (over 2000 published since 1962).

One can obtain a first edition of current Forecaster Report #25 by contacting them at Forecaster, Dept. NR, 19623 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356. e-mail: forecasterml @ yahoo. com

New readers receive a confidential first edition of Report #25 FREE as a gift for new members who sign up for the Forecaster Moneyletter (10 issues $59).

Kamin is also the author of some 15 books on high finance, money matters, real estate, and considered an expert numismatist.

0ne may contact the Forecaster by phone at (818) 345-4421 Tuesday thru Friday. They work a 4-day week, and Kamin is the author of the book, The 4-day Week In Your Future, Everything You Wanted To Know And Didn't Ask.
