Professional Beauty is the largest event of it's kind in the UK and the third largest in Europe. Encompassing professional beauty, spa, welless, nails, tanning, make-up and fitness as well as 10 conferences and lecture programmes and the International Distributor Forum, no-one who is involved in this multi-millionpound industry can afford to miss it.

February 25th, 26th and 27th 2007 sees the largest UK Event for the professional beauty, spa, aesthetic medicine, nails and fitness roll into London’s ExCeL centre. Professional Beauty 2007, a three day event, encompassing all the latest product and treatment launches from over 450 exhibitors, a myriad of lecture programmes and conferences including the London International Spa Convention and world-class competitions in nails and make-up, Professional Beauty ExCeL is the only place to be for those involved in the world of beauty.

Visitors topped 40,000 last year, with Spa delegate attendance up to over 400, demonstrating this to be the leading symposium for those pushing forward the rapid growth in the spa and wellness sector, both here in the UK and worldwide.

Wellness is now recognised as a substantial growth sector. This major new market is defined by a healthy balance between mind, body and soul that results in an overall state of well-being. The three major areas of influence within the Wellness market that, when in balance, help people reach a state of well-being are: physical appearance, physical condition and diet and fitness. All of which are featured heavily at Professional Beauty 2007.

On the Show floor there are 10 sections covering skincare and aromatherapy, spa and medi-spa, make-up, furnishings and equipment, nails, tanning, aesthetic medicine, holistic therapies, fitness forum and education and recruitment. With over 450 exhibitors last year and this set to grow for 2007, all that is new and ground-breaking will be on display here.

Add to this eight conference programmes including lecture forums from BABTAC, BISA, FHT, ANT, British Institute and Association of Electrolysis, ITEC as well as The London International Spa Convention. There is no better place to learn and network.

“Professional Beauty is now the leading UK event for the professional beauty market” explains show founder Mark Moloney. “We want to be the catalyst in growing the wellness market as a whole both here in the UK and internationally. The London International Spa Convention in particular attracts delegates from all over the world, market leaders and innovators meet to exchange ideas, thinking and trends within this sector, the networking is phenomenal, millions of pounds worth business is most definitely done over the three days of Professional Beauty.”

New to 2007 includes the International Distributor Forum (IDF). Moloney agrees that one way of growing the market is to introduce new and established brands from overseas to the UK. But also the IDF will give UK based companies the chance to meet overseas buyers to further expand their businesses abroad.

Professional Beauty 2006 had 40,348 visitors (ABC audited). Entry to Professional Beauty 2007 is free for those visitors who register in advance – tickets can be obtained by calling 0870 429 4498.
