DP Solutions & TIMA Working Together to Host EDI Enabled Healthcare Platform

COLUMBIA, MD (PRWEB) October 7, 2006

DP Solutions and Technology Integrations for Medical Applications, Inc. (TIMA) are working together to host the innovative TIMA healthcare platform and enable it for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) medical transactions.

The TIMA system, which was developed by Dr. S. Vincent Grasso, surgeon, software architect, and Adjunct Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N. J., enables a wide range of private, secure, fully audited and distributed healthcare services to be transacted efficiently and effectively within its Healthcare Enterprise Portal.

The application is hosted in DP Solutions’ Columbia, Maryland-based Network Operating Center (NOC). DP Solutions’ NOC Engineers maintain the data center and the hardware, while the DP Solutions’ development team provides software development and support services.

MD On-Line, a New Jersey-based health care technology company that works closely with both providers and payers to increase electronic healthcare transactions between the parties, rounds out the relationship nicely by being the conduit for all electronic claims generated from the platform. All claims that are produced from the TIMA platform are transmitted to MD On-Line, who in turn ensures they are routed to the appropriate payer.

“By working together in this fashion, MD On-Line, TIMA and DP Solutions are able to offer a much better mousetrap solution at a price that is affordable for the Healthcare Provider,” said Bill Bartzak, President of MD On-Line, Inc.
