Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 31, 2007

In the spirit of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to help promote the Susan Komen Foundation's mission, Laila is proud to announce the release of the first ever "Pink Laila Bottle". For a period of one year proceeds from sales of the newest product "Laila's Pink Bottle" will be donated to the Susan Komen Foundation.

Beginning October, 2007, in support of finding a cure for breast cancer, Geir Ness will be a sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Foundation with a minimum donation of $25,000.00, along with his newest scent packaged in special pink bottles, just designed for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. 10% of retail sales from the pink bottles will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Geir is emotional and excited about his partnership with the Susan Komen Foundation and his newest project featuring the first ever "Pink Laila Bottle" in honor of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the fragrance which is named in honor of his mother, Laila. According to Geir, "This scent captures the essence of the Norwegian mountain wild flowers, from which it was created." It's been described as clean, fresh, pure and alluring by those who have tried the perfume.

"We have to bring attention to breast cancer, especially since it is the number one health concern for women, which can also affect men. This disease has an impact on tens of thousands of women worldwide," said Geir Ness, Creator of Laila. "For me giving back to the community is extremely important to me, since I have met so many women over the years whose lives have been affected by this devastating disease. I made a pledge to make a difference and help fight the war on breast cancer, and I am asking everyone to participate in helping find a cure to save women's life's." Recently this year I just lost a very dear friend of mine to breast cancer who left behind 4 small beautiful girls. The death of my friend encouraged me even more than ever, to help fight this killer disease and find a cure.

About Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement! Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. Laila got its name because this fragrance is named for his mom and means so much to Geir. He copied his Mom's signature without her knowing it, had it silk screened on the bottle and surprised her with it on Mother's Day. The little boy who went with his mom to the mountains years ago, was now able to thank her for her love and inspiration.

Laila is the true essence of Norway, beauty, freshness and woman.
