St. Albans, VT (PRWEB) April 29, 2006

Good Politics Radio Vermont is pleased to announce that it now has the popular public access TV show “Sound Off” available in a podcast format. “Sound Off”, hosted by Paul Beaudry, is a live call-in show on Northwest Access, Channel 15 in St. Albans, VT that is Vermont issue-oriented. Beaudry, who describes himself as a Conservative who expresses Judeo-Christian values of America, will take calls from people with all views of the issue at hand. Having the audio of “Sound Off” available on Good Politics Radio Vermont allows people who do not have access to Channel 15, the opportunity to hear what Beaudry, his guests, and those who call in, have to say.

In this premier episode of “Sound Off” available on Good Politics Radio Vermont, Beaudry is joined by co-host Linda Kirker and guest, former Vermont Representative Frank Mazur. Mazur, who Beaudry describes as an expert in the areas of education and healthcare, turns his attention to what can be done to bring down the cost of healthcare, specifically health insurance, here in Vermont. He states that it is the mandates set forth by the legislators that increase the cost of health insurance and that the number one mandate that raises the rates is Guaranteed Issue. Guaranteed Issue Insurance decrees that a person will be able to obtain insurance no matter what his/her health condition is at any time. According to Mazur, Guaranteed Issue raises insurance rates by a minimum of 20%. Vermont is one of only eight states that have the mandate of Guaranteed Issue.

Beaudry, who is also the host of the Comment Show on WSRA 1420FM, has plans to have “Sound Off” available on other public access TV shows throughout Vermont in the near future.
