Online Information 2010 Attracts Exceptional Number of New Exhibitors



Incisive Media, organiser of Online Information 2010 exhibition, has reported a significant increase in the number of new companies exhibiting at this year’s event.

Over 30% of exhibiting companies are new to Online Information which is a leading and established information industry meeting place for more than 9,000 attendees from over 40 countries across the globe. This unique free to attend event is designed to showcase the best content resources and information management solutions. It consists of an exhibition with more than 200 international exhibitors, an extensive educational show floor seminar programme, plus a range of exciting and stimulating show features.

About first time Online Information exhibiting companies in 2010:



CDI Systems is launching its state of the art e-Publishing system (NetIS) in the UK at Online Information 2010 and its objective for the show is to increase UK client numbers to add its existing International (France, Japan, US, China, Spain, Israel) client e-Content provider/publisher base. The company’s COO, Gedaliah Gurfein, is presenting a paper, ‘Enabling the transition from print to digital in a safe and end user friendly environment.’ on 1 December in Theatre A as part of the free showfloor seminar programme.



Frontline GMS Ltd and Ringgold Inc will demonstrate its new Consortium Directory Online, which will be released in January 2011. The Consortium Directory, originally published by Frontline GMS Ltd will become available as an online database in partnership with Ringgold Inc, creating a unique resource for the information industry. The new Directory, renamed the Consortium Directory Online (CDO), is the most comprehensive directory of the library consortium market available, will include over 600 library consortia in 100 countries.



I-Publishing Consultants Ltd is exhibiting to meet with organisations interested in re-purposing their book/print content / information online AND engaging more effectively with their communities of interest. The company is bringing to market a commoditised version of an established editorial cms already used by household name publishers in the UK, Europe and the US to ‘test the water’ with regard to its joint venture with software partner and co-exhibitor (Librios) and gauge market interest, particularly amongst smaller and medium sized publishers who want to remain in control of their content and therefore the future of their businesses and for whom the options of expensive, enterprise scale in-house implementation or complete outsourcings are not sensible business options. I-Publishing will also be demonstrating variable re-purposing print book content for output to community web sites, as optimised ebooks and to mobile – a new flavour with community engagement of an existing print to online capability and presenting at the XML pavilion at 12.45 on 1 December entitled, ‘Using editorial content management to re-purpose print book content for web, e-Books and apps.’



Jadu already has a strong presence in Local Government and Higher Education providing solutions for website content publishing using the Jadu CMS and is exhibiting at Online Information to grow its exposure alongside its core sector to other markets. The company will be announcing the launch of the latest Jadu CMS point release, Clearwater 1.9. Providing a flexible platform for information management, Jadu CMS is designed for and used by organisations of varying sizes within government, higher education, commercial and not for profit sectors. Sophisticated, yet simple to use web-based publishing tools enable non-technical employees to be autonomous in publishing information. Alongside this Jadu will also be launching its SharePoint Connector. This allows content publishing from the MS Office SharePoint server of pages, documents and images to any Jadu powered website or intranet. Demonstrations of Jadu XForms pro & Jadu Rupa Enterprise search for Google will take place throughout the show and a Jadu client, Paul Stanton from the University of Leeds, will be talking about building the "Killer CourseFinder" to help drive student recruitment using the Jadu CMS.



Miles 33 has been a leading supplier of software, support and consultancy services to the publishing, legal and finance sectors across the globe for more than 30 years. Against a background of media conversion becoming a reality globally, and its extensive experience in publishing and broad product portfolio becoming relevant to other industries - the company’s main objective for Online this year is to connect with representatives of other markets and learn about their needs and challenges in any of their publishing-related activities, whether it is publishing to the web, or producing their marketing collateral. Onomatics, a French company, is exhibiting at Online to take its first step into the British market demonstrating its innovative and effective application and solutions.



Oxygenxml is demonstrating its existing XML tools and previewing some of its new products and services. Plus it’s also running a seminar session on XML workflows.



Srishti Software is a leading software products company providing cutting edge technology solutions in the twin areas of Web Content Management (WCM) and Healthcare domains. KREATIO Platforms for Online Media Content Management will feature on its stand along with PARAS Platforms for Healthcare. In addition to this experts from the group are presenting in the Content Management Theatre.



Sourcesense will be aiming to help Online Information attendees to reduce their overall cost for CMS and Search solutions. This will be the first time in the UK, Sourcesense, Hippo and Xillio will bring together their individual skills to offer effortless migration to an Open Source, multi-channel, multi-lingual and multi-site CMS. Customers will be able to choose from a full range of services including: managed migration, consulting, integration and enterprise grade support. Tjeerd Brenninkmeijer, CCO & Co-founder, Hippo is presenting in Seminar Theatre A on the first day of the event. In his session ‘10 steps towards effortless migration to an open source web content management system ‘Tjeerd will highlight the business needs and challenges of client Enterprises and Government organisations which made the switch to a more 'open' web environment using Hippo CMS and Xillio migration tools. He will describe their approach/solution, and review the lessons they learned along the way. Upayavira, Senior Developer and Consultant, Sourcesense will also present on the last day outlining the case study of an Enterprise-critical migration from custom Lucene indexes to Apache Solr, with a significant focus on scalability.
