Two new web sites have emerged to create a comprehensive directory of dance in the Greater Philadelphia Region as well as provide a public forum for discussions and promotion of area dance companies and performances.

In a joint effort between Music & Motion Dance Productions [www. music-and-motion. com] and a regional ISP, Delaware Valley On Line [www. dvol. com], two new web sites have emerged to create a comprehensive directory of dance in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
Www. PhiladelphiaDANCE. org has been developed as a web forum for promotion of dance companies and dance performances in the greater Philadelphia Region. It also provides for discussion groups on everything from choreography to funding sources, all dance styles from ballet to hip hop, as well as such topics as health and fitness for dancers and locating supportive services from photographers to dance agents.
Www. PhiladelphiaDanceDirectory. com offers a comprehensive directory and listing service of dance companies, studios, dance colleges, organizations, venues, and dance relate services. This site offers a unique content management system that allows organizations and individuals to maintain and update their own listings and offerings.
Both sites are free to both the public as well as to dancers and dance organizations in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The mission of these sites is to promote the art form of dance in the region and showcase the vast amount talent available.
