Epic Stories for Character Education begins with a brief historical background for parents on traditional American culture and heritage. The next section contains illustrated stories about epic heroes from scriptural history and classic literature. Rather than read the book from cover-to-cover in a few days, it is best when the epic stories are read in the sequence of five steps shown in the “Epic Heroes in Training” Section.
