Mothers Against Sexual Abuse, (MASA), AgainstSexualAbuse. org is a national non-profit organization founded by Reeves in March of 1992. MASA has provided ongoing support for victims of child sexual abuse and non-offending parents of children who have been sexually abused. Important legislation has been designed and supported by MASA on both the state and federal levels. One of the most important was to eliminate the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution in cases of incest and child sexual abuse in the state of California. MASA supported MeganÂ’s Law, federal legislation passed in 1995.
Reeves has appeared as a guest on numerous television and radio shows. A sought after speaker Reeves has lectured at universities, hospitals, schools, professional conferences, etc. The California Senate and Assembly both honored Reeves for her work on behalf of victims.
