Foundation to Receive MLK Leadership Award for Service
The Chauncey H. Robinson will receive award for community service.

The Rollins School of Public Health and the Goizuetta School of Business at Emory University will present the 2006 Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Award to the Chauncey H. Robinson Youth Foundation on Thursday, January 19, 2006. For over ten years, the Rollins School of Public has honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Awards Program.
This year's program, as in past years is sponsored by the Rollins School of Public Health and the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and our theme is "Illuminating Vulnerabilities in the Midst of the Storm: Social Justice Issues and Service Opportunities Arising out of Natural Disasters." The event will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 4:00 p. m. in the auditorium of the Goizueta Business School with a reception and an art sale immediately following the program.
This year's program is dedicated to Mrs. Rosa Parks. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Robert Michael Franklin Jr., Presidential Distinguished Professor of Social Ethics, Candler School of Theology, Emory University.
The Chauncey H. Robinson Youth Foundation is a philanthropic and program oriented organization whose mission is to fund and further the development of present programs that serve inner city youth in the areas of health, education, and the arts. The foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 c-3, non-profit organization.
