AAUCM & NAFAC to jointly host the Urgent Care 2007 Conference in Orlando in April 2007.

The American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM) and the National Association for Ambulatory Care (NAFAC) have announced that they will jointly host the Urgent Care 2007 Conference in Orlando in April 2007. The conference will bring together the best speakers on both the business and clinical aspects of urgent care medicine under the theme, “Navigating the Future of Urgent Care Medicine.”

In addition, the boards of both organizations voted unanimously to work collaboratively on continuing advancements in the practice of urgent care medicine, leveraging AAUCM’s deep commitment to the academic and clinical enhancement of acute care, and NAFAC’s history of helping physicians and practice managers optimize the business aspects of their practices.



“We’ve always had deep respect for each other’s organizations, and many of our members have typically attended both conferences each year,” said Franz Ritucci, M. D., AAUCM medical director. “Urgent Care 2007 represents a tremendous opportunity for learning and relationship development, as well as the beginning of a mutual commitment to furthering the quality, efficiency and convenience of care we’ve always represented.”
