Chemical Suicide: Why You Should Switch To Natural Cleaning Products Now
Do you realise the negative effect some cleaning products can have on your health? The disturbing truth about the common household cleaners and what you can do to lead a healthier life.

Did You Know?
More than 7 million accidental poisonings occur each year, with more than 75% involving children under age 6! (Source: The Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons)
The federal Environmental Protection Agency (E. P.A.) has found that airborne chemical levels in homes were as much as seventy (70) times higher inside than outside.
Scare-mongering this is not. When I first heard these facts I was simply appalled and bewildered that we allow ourselves to live like this. In an age where conditions such as asthma and cancer are so commonplace, how come we do not look straight towards the cause and eradicate it?
For a long time I was of the view that cleaning products have enriched our lives and bought a higher standard of living and a longer average lifespan; true to an extent.
Soap is one of the most significant inventions the human race has ever dreamed up. It has brought cleanliness into our lives and has helped to reduce the spread of common diseases across much of the world.
But we did not stop at soap. The US market for household cleaning products was worth US$14.3 billion in 2003. As this lucrative market becomes saturated, companies resort to new, more effective cleaners, containing an increasing number of toxic chemicals, to steal market share from rivals. But at what cost to us?
Of the 17,000 chemicals that appear in common household products, only 30% have been adequately tested for the negative effects on our health. (Source: "Neighbourhood Network's" 2002 Environmental Resource Directory for Home and Business)
According to a National Academy of Sciences workshop, approximately 15 percent of the American population suffer from chemical sensitivity. Researchers have traced this increased sensitivity to the proliferation of synthetic chemicals in consumer products and furnishings.
The more of these facts I came across, the more I started to look for an alternative, and so I stumbled across natural cleaning products that are both safe for you to use and environmentally friendly.
These products contain no dyes, artificial fragrances or pesticide residues. They use only citrus-based oils as well as ingredients from corn and other replenish able materials.
Q&A:
But do they clean as well as the chemical based products?
Well, you will be amazed at what Mother Nature has provided us with. These cleaners can compare to the leading brands when it comes to fighting grime and will leave you and your family feeling and looking a lot healthier. These products are now more widespread than ever in the workplace and it is about time that we started to use them in our own homes as this is where we spend the majority of our time.
But arenÂt these products more expensive?
The prices are not a great deal more than what you would pay for regular products and with competition in the sector increasing, it should not be long before we see prices dropping. But who can really put a price on good health?
They sound great but where can I get these products?
You can buy them right now from stores across the country, but why not get them delivered direct to your front door by visiting the website below where you can get great deals with maximum convenience to you.
Using these products will significantly reduce indoor air pollution and this will help you and your family lead healthier lives.
So letÂs raise a glass and make a toast to your health! Cheers!
