HealthIS was founded in 1984 by Peter Sereny, M. D. and Aron Sereny, PhD. HealthIS later acquired Temple Surgicenter Systems, which was founded in 1979. Under terms of the merger, Source Medical acquired HealthIS, Inc., including its leading solutions designed for ASCs, surgical hospitals and physician practice management groups.
