Kleer wireless audio technology -- the KLR3012 module chip -- is a PC Magazine's 25th Annual Technical Excellence Award winner, and Kleer-based products have also earned industry recognition including the CES 2009 Innovations award and European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) 2008 award for the Sennheiser MX W1 true wireless earphones.
"The incredible wireless sound quality in the Sennheiser MX W1 earphones is delivered courtesy of Kleer, a chip designer that has done something remarkable with 2.4-GHz wireless audio transmission," said Jeremy Kaplan, Executive Editor at PC Magazine. "The MX W1 headphones use Kleer's KLR3012 module chip to eliminate any audio compression artifacts. No compression means no loss in quality; Bluetooth can't even come close. Going forward, the KLR3012's uncompressed audio could change the way audiophiles feel about wireless."
In 2009, Kleer will be announcing a broad range of wireless audio products adding to its already impressive customer portfolio.
