Seeing Is Believing
A baby relies on sight to learn functions. A child relies on sight to kick a soccer ball into the goal. A teenager relies on site to relate. A business professional relies on sight to create the perfect presentation. The sense of sight makes learning and living easier.

“By taking care of your eyes at a young age, you may prevent many problems from occurring later in life,” says QUENTIN MOSES, local field service representative of the Alliance for Affordable Services.
Incorporating some factors into your habits can increase the life of your eyes, even if you already need corrective lenses or contacts. There is no sense in making things worse!
Wash Your Hands
How often do you touch your eyes? You may not even be aware that you do very often! Keep your hands clean and avoid rubbing your eyes. By introducing different substances into your eyes, you increase the odds of having problems.
Protection form the Sunlight
Your mother always reprimanded you for staring at the sun. Though you hate to admit it, she was right. Wear sunglasses with UV protection to shield your eyes from the ultraviolet rays.
Wear Goggles
Through you hated wearing goggles in chemistry class, they served a good purpose! Protecting your eyes while playing sports, working with chemicals or operating tools and machinery prevents bigger problems from happening in the future.
Regular Check-Ups
If you can’t remember when you had your last eye check-up that means it is time to schedule an appointment! Because your eyesight changes slowly over time, you may not realize how your sight has changed. Coordinate a visit to the eye doctor every two years to stay abreast of the development occurring in your eyes
