Endeavor Telecom Introduces Upgraded Company Health Initiative to Encourage Healthy Lifestyle Choices
Health initiative includes sponsoring of activities and seminars aimed at providing resources that will educate staff to make positive choices aimed at optimizing physical and mental health.

Endeavor, the Telecom Truck Roll Company for carriers, service providers, VARs, and equipment manufacturers, is pleased to announce a series of new initiatives in partnership with United Healthcare aimed at encouraging the Endeavor staff to lead healthy and happy lifestyles. As daily order volume continues to increase through the summer, the days will get busier making it more crucial to provide the staff with information and activities that will promote sound physical and mental health.
Endeavor has a well known history of promoting physical fitness, having previously sponsored various activities recreational activities and team sports such as whitewater rafting and a co-ed softball team. The 2010 health initiative truly began for Endeavor back in March when, for the second year in a row, the company sponsored a team of employees to run in the annual ING Marathon/Half Marathon. In the months leading up to the race, a training matrix was prominently displayed in the staff common room documenting weekly mileage.
Since the ING, Endeavor management has continued its efforts to provide the staff with resources aimed at encouraging positive health related choices, including a series of seminars provided by United Healthcare. The first of these seminars, entitled "Wellness and You," covered a variety of topics such as the benefits of exercise, ample sleep, and a well balanced diet, and offered several useful tactics to maximize overall well-being by implementing healthy choices in everyday life. The next seminar, "Stress and Life Balance," will focus on practical stress management techniques that can be utilized to effectively maintain a healthy equilibrium between demands of career, family, and personal aspirations.
