Realizing that a lot of the newly placed children receiving support from her practice were experiencing a kind of “culture shock” that was leaving them overwhelmed by all the changes that a new family demands, McCreight felt there was a missing piece to the puzzle; there needed to be an adoption book for adoption counseling.
