Jody Howard Makes International Society of Poets 2006 Semi-finals
Jody Howards poem, Casting and Reeling, will soon be published in the International Society of Poets newest poetry book, ready for publication July 2006.

In addition to her recently published book entitled, A Soul's Guide to Abundance, Health and Happiness, Jody Howard is pleased to announce the publication of one of her favoriate poems, Casting and Reeling.
The International Society of Poets will be publishing their book of poetry soon. Ms. Howard has the ability to also make it to the finals in June 2006 and from there, the 2006 Poem of the Year.
Jody has been writing poetry all her life but this is the first time she entered a poetry contest. She says, "I was so surprised to hear I won the semi-finals. This poem has always been very special to my husband and I'm excited about it's acceptance. Now everyone can enjoy his love of fishing".
The poem was written for, and about, her husband Johnny. Although he is the owner of Southeast Texas Taekwondo Academy (sttkda. com), his favorite pasttime is fishing. While on a fishing trip in Arkansas, Ms. Howard documented the events of his day in poetic fashion.
This poem should appeal to any fisherman with it's light humor and honesty.
