The Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 (CCHE), Cairo, Egypt and the International Association for Organ Donation (IAOD) are pleased to announce that Dr. Fouad Beydoun, Chairman of the IAOD was this year’s featured speaker attending the 2nd Annual Scientific Conference on children’s cancer.



A wide gathering of scientists, clinicians, pharmacists and nurses specialized in pediatric oncology practice meet to celebrate the third anniversary of Children's Cancer Hospital, Egypt (CCHE). The celebration was in the form of high-brow teaching lectures and reports presented by international experts in the fields of pediatric CNS tumors, solid tumors (neuroblastoma, nephroblastoma, soft tissue and bone tumors, lymphoma, leukemia and pediatric oncology nursing. The conference extends its activities to hospital management, clinical pharmacy and telemedicine. Furthermore, CCHE experts presented the efforts performed to establish a state-of-the-art pediatric oncology hospital equipped with all needed facilities to raise the standard of care to the highest levels.



In addition, Dr Beydoun has been featured a featured speaker in the Gulf Region on a variety of medial topic including cancers and organ transplantation. Speaking at some 14 medical conferences in the past four years, he was recently recognized at the annual Saudi Cancer Foundation conference in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Beydoun’s speaking engagements have also include conferences in Doha, Qatar, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and numerous locals in the United States.



Dr Fouad Beydoun, an Advisor to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Minister of Health His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Vice Chairman of Harper University and Hutzel Women's Hospital at the Detroit Medical Center, and Chief Operating Officer to Umm Al-Qura University, Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is well known throughout the Gulf Region for his contributions to academic and medical advancements.

Since the organization’s inception in 1999, the International Association for Organ Donation (a 501 c (3) non-profit organization), has been active in organ, tissue, and bone marrow donations in the minority communities of southeast Michigan and has enrolled almost 9,000 people to the Michigan Donor Registry.
