METROSOURCE is a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine and resource guide that reflects the cultural tastes and interests of the gay urban community. In addition to great profiles on our world's most intriguing people, it offers the latest fashion as well as in-depth film, television, music and book reviews. It also offers features on Interiors, Travel, Art, Health and Fitness in each issue. The LA Edition will highlight cutting edge coverage of local hot spots, restaurants and events, as well provide a Business Directory, and Community Resource Guide, where readers can find local companies and organizations that cater to the community.
METROSOURCE was first launched in 1990, as a local NY magazine and resource guide. In 1999 the company launched its national edition. The upcoming December/January issue will mark the companyÂs first expansion into another local market. In this premier issue, you will see profiles of the People We Love, (the people that rocked our world in 2004). There is also a Holiday Gift Guide with great ideas for the Holidays, the best listing anywhere of Restaurant Bites, the coolest places to eat throughout the metropolitan area, and the directory of businesses and services where you can find just about anything that you're looking for... Well almost anything.
With the launch of the METROSOURCEÂs LA Edition, total circulation increases to 125,000 copies among all editions of the magazine. Locally there will be 45,000 copies of METROSOURCE LA distributed in Southern California each issue. This increase in circulation will give METROSOURCE the distinction of having the highest circulation among all gay/lesbian-targeted publications in the country.
