Workforce Performance and Shared Services List Servers Added to IHRIM Member Benefits



IHRIM facilitates communications between its members and related professionals in many ways. List servers were created to offer HR systems professionals and others the opportunity to share ideas and advice online. This communication has been expanded now to include Workforce Performance and Shared Services list servers.

IHRIM has announced the addition of Workforce Performance and Shared Services List Servers to its growing member benefits. The Workforce Performance ListManager is designed to facilitate collaboration between IHRIM members who are looking to share experiences, success stories, and look for advice in the domains of performance management, learning management, succession planning, career planning and competency management. The Shared Services ListManager is designed to facilitate communication among IHRIM members involved in executing or examining a shared services model. List server members will share experiences, success stories, and seek advice to improve their knowledge and extend the shared services value to their company.



Other list servers available to members include:



· Privacy and Security ListManager – created to allow IHRIM members to communicate about privacy and security topics; facilitate the development and ongoing activities of the Privacy & Security Special Interest Group and enable the HR community to share questions, information and experiences as it relates to privacy and security issues.



· Small to Mid Sized ListManager - intended to better the communication between members and as a general resource for obtaining information on topics related to HR information management, including HR systems and system related activities (including selection, implementation, consulting services, strategic planning, and processes) in small to mid sized organizations.



· Global ListManager – improves the communication between members and as a general resource for obtaining information on topics of global interest, including global HR systems and system-related activities (e. g. implementation, consulting services, strategic planning, processes, country-specific HR resources).



· HRIM ListManager – provides a general resource for obtaining information on topics related to HR information management, including HR systems and system-related activities (including selection, implementation, consulting services, strategic planning and processes).



Throughout 2005, IHRIM will be introducing new networking and communication services. Currently, work is being done on the development of ListManagers for Health Care/Biotechnology Industries.
