Denver Chapter of Cable Positive to Present Checks to Mi Casa and Rainbow House
More than $60,000 will be donated from proceeds of 2005 “Positively Cable” Show.

The Denver Chapter of Cable Positive, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and supporting HIV/AIDS education, prevention and care, will be presenting checks to two Denver organizations – Mi Casa and Rainbow House.
Each organization will receive $33,203.05 to support their work in Denver. The funds were raised during last’s year’s “Positively Cable” show, an annual Denver event which has raised more than $750,000 over the past 12 years to benefit HIV/AIDS education, research and prevention.
Where and When:
The presentation will be take place at The Cable Center, 2000 Buchtel Blvd., Denver, at 11:30 a. m. July 20. Members of the media are encouraged to attend.
Who:
Officials from Mi Casa and Rainbow House, along with representatives of Cable Positive (local chapter and national), will be on hand for the presentation to describe how these funds will impact their work in Denver.
The Volunteers of America Rainbow House provides services designed to meet the unique needs of families living with HIV/AIDS, specifically those with young children. The Mi Casa health education project strives to educate Denver-area youth to avoid negative risk behaviors and to improve their outlook for the future.
