In 2007, the prestigious Grove Fuel Cell Symposium is celebrating its twentieth year with its tenth bi-annual conference and exhibition, taking place on 25 - 27 September 2007 at Westminster's Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London. Join around one hundred exhibitors and thousands of visitors from across the globe to review technological developments, hear first-hand from leading fuel cell manufacturers, users and fuel suppliers and explore the impact of government legislation and various policy initiatives plus much more.
Real and rapid progress is occurring in the fuel cell industry and within the infrastructure that supports it, leading to viable fuel cell power generation for both mobile and stationary applications across a variety of sectors. This year's exhibition and conference provides an opportunity to find out how progress in fuel cell technology can work for the consumer and in industry.
Governments and organisations worldwide are continually working towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the use of bio-fuels by 2020. Grove provides the ideal occasion to view the latest in fuel cell usage within the transportation industry and how these can work towards climate change goals. The Grove exhibition and demonstration area will provide the chance to meet with around one hundred leading manufacturers and suppliers of fuel cell component products. These include QinetiQ, The Department for Trade and Industry (DTI), Canada Pavilion and many more. Inside the exhibition, there will be opportunities to look at fuel cells in action in a variety of stationary, portable, and micro fuel cell products, which will be on display at the largest ever gathering of live fuel cell demonstrations.
This year, the DTI will be hosting a separate demonstration looking at the most up-to-date fuel cell technology for the automotive industry as an alternative to the use of current fuels. This demonstration will offer an opportunity to discuss key issues with the developers and engineers, as well as providing the ideal platform to take a look at the technology. An array of cars, scooters, buses and bikes will be showcased throughout the demonstration. So, come along and hear first-hand their experiences in moving into the fuel cell market and how fuel cell developments have a positive impact on current climate change issues.
