PerkinElmer Showcases EcoAnalytix™ Initiative at Singapore International Water Week
Application-Focused Solutions Designed to Support Research and Testing Vital to Global Health and Safety.

PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences, a global leader in application-focused measurement and analysis solutions, showcases the Company's EcoAnalytix™ initiative at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) at booth C20. EcoAnalytix™ is PerkinElmer's revolutionary problem-solving initiative that addresses the global imperatives of water quality and sustainable energy development and food and consumer product safety to create a healthy and safe environment.
This initiative encompasses comprehensive application-focused solutions with innovative thought leadership and public outreach programs that brings together insights from top scientists, industry experts and government agencies directly to customers. One key component of the initiative is to deliver analyzers that combine product offerings with necessary end-user functions, methodologies, standard operating procedures and training required to complete specific analyses.

To demonstrate key aspects of this initiative, selected EcoAnalytix solutions will be featured at SIWW, including the new LABWORKS™ Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) package for water laboratories. LABWORKS waterLIMS™ simplifies data management by providing an integrated suite of software applications, interfaces and reports based on the fundamental needs of most water laboratories.
"Laboratories conducting analysis of water increasingly face challenges to deliver more comprehensive results, with a fixed set of resources," he added. "We created LABWORKS waterLIMS™ to help our customers meet these challenges by automating the processes of collecting, evaluating and delivering quality data to decision makers."
Also showcased will be the EcoAnalytix™ Trace Metal Water Analyzer to rapidly screen for commonly regulated elements in drinking water; and, the LAMBDA™ XLS for determination of total nitrogen and phosphates.
Part of PerkinElmer's EcoAnalytix™ initiative is the Company's partnership with the Water Environment Federation's (WEF) and sponsorship of World Water Monitoring Day™ (WWMD). As part of this partnership to help build awareness and involvement in protecting our water resources, PerkinElmer will be distributing over 100 water monitoring kits to teachers and students attending the show.
