Buenos Aires, Argentina (PRWEB) October 9, 2009

Come and discover, first hand (and foot!) how both aesthetic experiences of Tango and Zen, done simultaneously, can be a road to inner peace through TangoZen Workshop in Buenos Aires in December 2009.

Recently, Tango was declared part of the world's cultural heritage by the United Nations.

Tango is the dance of connection, relaxation, and silent communication. Meditation is the art of discovering and reconciling ones own nature. Together, in Tango Zen, they make the music of mind and body, one step at a time.

TangoZen is an innovative yet natural way of meditating while dancing Tango. It is for those who are new or seasoned at meditation, for beginners as well as veteran dancers, and for anyone who is searching for a literal step-by-step method that is both rhythmic and simple to pursue, in order to accomplish a peaceful way of being. In other words, TangoZen can help establish balance, calmness, groundedness, centering, and harmony in mind and body.

TangoZen workshop will be offered on December 11-13 in Buenos Aires. This weekend event is expecting participations by Argentines as well as foreigners mainly from the United States and Europe.

Daily activities of the workshop include morning Walking Dance Meditation, afternoon Tango classes/practicas, and nightly milongas. The workshop will take place in Casa McAuley, approximately 35km from the city of Buenos Aires.

Chan Park, instructor of the workshop, has presented the TangoZen workshops for years in Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Italia, Spain, Czech Republic, France, Croatia, Canada, Lithuania, Russia, Latvia, Finland, Holland, Korea, China, Singapore and India. He also has offered the workshops in renowned meditation wellness centers: Omega Institute (New York, USA), Kirpalu Center for Yoga and Health (Massachusetts, USA), Ranch La Puerta (Baja California, Mexico), and Villa Unspunnen (Interlaken, Switzerland). He published a book titled "Tango Zen: Walking Dance Meditation" in English in the United States in 2005. A bilingual version (Castellano-English) of the book was also published in Buenos Aires last year by Editorial Kier. His story has been featured in Pagina 12, Kiné, BA Tango, EntreCasa, and Uno Mismo in Buenos Aires.
