Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications today announced the appointment of Kara Lundberg and Melissa Stewart to its roster of PR pros. Both originally from the Pacific Northwest, Lundberg and Stewart bring communications experience from the technology and healthcare industries to RH Strategic clients. Lundberg will serve as an Account Executive and Stewart will serve as an Assistant Account Executive.
Lundberg began her professional career at Weber Shandwick Worldwide in Seattle, supporting Microsoft’s Windows Mobile and the Automotive Business Unit, among other technology accounts. She secured coverage in some of the industry’s most prominent technology trade publications and national outlets.
At RH Strategic, Lundberg will spearhead media relations initiatives to support ongoing communications strategies for many of the firm’s clients. She graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash. with a B. A. in Journalism. She currently resides in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
Stewart joins RH Strategic after three years with HealthUnity, a successful and growing health information exchange company. While there she was involved in PR, marketing, and web site initiatives.
In her role with RH Strategic, she will track industry trends, develop and maintain relationships with key reporters and bloggers, manage social media campaigns, and pursue client visibility opportunities such as awards and speaking engagements. Melissa graduated from the University of Washington in Bothell, Wash. with a B. A. in Business Administration and Marketing. She currently resides in Issaquah with her family.
